Overview
BigCat Productions operates Firework Engine, which provides stream overlay tools, account management, trigger integrations, and related platform services for creators and broadcasters.
This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to users of the service.
Information We Collect
- Account information such as email address, display name, and linked provider identity.
- Authentication and session information needed to keep your Firework Engine account secure.
- Overlay and workspace configuration, including theme sets, launch zones, scene assets, and trigger settings.
- Billing records such as subscription, plan, payment status, and PayPal payer or transaction identifiers. Firework Engine does not store your complete card or bank-account details.
- Operational data such as overlay connection status, viewport size, IP address, browser information, automation activity, and service diagnostics.
Connected Platforms
When you sign in through Twitch or Google, or connect another supported provider in the future, we store the account data and granted permissions needed to operate the features you enable.
We request only the permissions needed for the features in use and may ask you to reconnect if you later enable features that require additional access.
How We Use Information
- To create and manage your Firework Engine account.
- To provide overlay, console, authentication, and integration features.
- To secure the platform, monitor service health, and prevent misuse.
- To support billing, subscription enforcement, and feature entitlements.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We disclose information only as needed to operate the service, comply with law, or protect the service and its users.
Current service providers include Twitch and Google for authentication, PayPal for subscription payments, Amazon Web Services for hosting, and Google Drive for encrypted backup storage. These providers may process information outside Canada under their own privacy terms and the laws of the places where they operate.
Retention And Security
We retain account and configuration data while your account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the service. Automation-event history is limited to the most recent 250 events for each project. Billing, security, and audit records may be retained longer where needed for legal obligations, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcement.
Operational backups are kept on a limited retention schedule and offsite backup data is encrypted. We use access controls, encrypted network connections, restricted database access, and other reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your Choices
You may disconnect providers and rotate automation keys, trigger links, pairing codes, and overlay routes from the service. You may request access to or correction of your personal information, ask questions about its use, or request account deletion by emailing admin@bigcat.ca. We may need to verify your identity and may retain limited information for legal, billing, fraud-prevention, or security reasons.
Privacy Incidents
We investigate suspected privacy and security incidents and will notify affected people and regulators when required by applicable law.
